Sidratul Moontaha Mitul graduated from the Department of English, University of Dhaka, specializing in English Literature. She has a passion for learning new languages. During her undergraduate years, she participated in numerous extracurricular activities and studied French and Japanese language. She began her career in the academia in 2017 as a Lecturer at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in English at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). She has published essays in various reputed journals. Her research interest includes women and gender studies, cultural studies, literary and critical theory, postcolonial studies etc. She has been actively involved with EDAS in the past two years and is currently a member of the EDAS Executive Committee as well as the EDAS Webinar Committee.
